Description:
This white oil goes through an ultra-high pressure hydrotreatment refinement process and a Vitamin E oxidation inhibitor is used for stabilization. The oil is available in four viscosity grade options, including 70, 90, 220, and 350.
Qualities
Specific regulations that were enacted by the FDA, like 21 CFR 172.878, correspond with white oils, approving them for use in/on food meant for human consumption and for utilization as part of a nonfood object that comes into contact with food meant for human consumption. The oil also complies with kosher classification, by the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America.
These white oils comply with the standards of The National Formulary (NF) and the US Pharmacopeia (USP). Since these oils are classified as 3H and H1 lubricants, they can be used for direct/incidental food contact, per NSF guidelines, and within food plants, per USDA jurisdiction.
