|Safety Data Sheet|
Glycol Ether EB (also known as Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether) is a colorless liquid usually used in coating applications. It can be used as a chemical intermediate for the manufacturing of esters. Also, it works as a stabilizer in metal cleaners, textile lubricants, liquid households and more.
- Coating resin types
- Retarder solvent for lacquers
- Slow evaporation rate
- Low surface tension
Most common uses are in aerosol coatings, aerospace coatings, and architectural coatings. It works as a lubricant and is used in different types of processing such as oil or gas. Excellent for processing solvents and protective coatings.
