Description
Boiler Guard is an alkaline solution that appears brown. The main ingredients are sodium hydroxide at 10%-15% by concentration and diethyl ethanolamine at 1%-2% by concentration. Boiler Guard can be used to eliminate and prevent scale buildup and corrosion on steam boiler systems. It is also an oxygen scavenger that binds free oxygen, which helps to prevent scale and corrosion.

Boiler Guard Benefits:
- Low Reactivity
- Nonflammable
- Used with a variety of boiler sizes
Boiler Guard Applications:
- Boiler Guard is a water treatment solution used to remove and prevent the formation of scale and corrosion from steam boilers. Boiler Guard should be diluted to a rate of 8- 16 fluid ounces per 500 gallons of water and administered using a by-pass feeder or pump on the high-pressure side of the boiler feed pump. The total alkalinity should be maintained between 450-650 and the system HEDP levels should be maintained between 2-6.
